Water Trailer FAQ

Hydraulic or engine-driven pump — which should I choose?
Both are great options. Engine-driven (diesel paired with a centrifugal pump) is self-contained; hydraulic runs off your equipment. We’ll recommend based on your tow vehicle and how you’ll load and dump.

What spray and dump options are available?
A rear spray bar with different valve and spray options plus a gravity-bar dump system come standard, with optional hose reel, electric monitor, wireless operation, and multiple loading/dumping configurations.

What comes on the bare water trailer tank?
Like every Randco tank, the water trailer tank is built heavy-duty and fully welded inside and out with no skip welds and internal baffling, then mounted on Hendrickson suspension (or the suspension of your choice). From there we add the pump of your choice, rear spray bar, and gravity-bar dump system. Tell us your capacity and we’ll spec the rest.

Which tank system is right for me?

Water Trailer (this page) – major capacity towed behind a vehicle, for serious water hauling only.
Drop On – bolts on and off, so one chassis can haul water, then go back to other work.
Slide In – slides into a dump bed or flatbed, slides (or lifts) back out, and is equipped with quick-disconnect fittings.
Hook Lift – rolls on and off with a hoist as a self-contained roll-off unit.
Poly Skid – a compact, self-contained skid for smaller dust-control and washdown jobs.
